Earlier in the week I went to check out the Festival of Britain 60th anniversary exhibition at Festival Hall on South Bank. It's a great capsule of the era with lots of great mid century style stuff. It's a fairly small exhibition but worth checking out if you're near by.

It's fabulous isn't it? I couldn't tear myself away from that 50's room set it was just so full of colourful gorgeous things - I took masses of photos.
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid to go as I think they will have to drag me kicking and screaming out when they close for the night. Or at least I might try and dis-assemble those string shelves and shove the elements down each pant leg. Ha!
